Rocket Man Plays First Ever Concert at Blackpool's Tower Festival Headland 

Undoubtedly one of the biggest artists in the world, Elton John and his band will bring their unforgettable live show to Blackpool for one special night this summer.

The concert will take place on the newly created Tower Festival Headland, Blackpool, adjacent to The Blackpool Tower and located on the world famous Golden Mile. On Saturday 16th June 2012, thousands of fans will have the opportunity dance and sing along to a succession of Elton’s much-loved songs in this specially created fully seated outdoor arena.

 Tickets for this fully reserved seated show will go on sale Friday 24 February at 9am.

Elton John said:

“I have played over 3000 concerts – but I haven’t performed in Blackpool for thirty years! So I’m looking forward to revisiting this legendary seaside town and playing on the Golden Mile, right near the Blackpool Tower. See you in June!”

Elton will become the first ever artist to play the Tower Festival Headland.
